HOMETOWN: CHINA
BORN: 1929
Zheng Yu Kun was a Chinese Asian Modern & Contemporary artist who was born in 1929.
Zheng Yu Kun often uses a vivid assemblage of colour to represent the epic landscapes of China that he paints. In “Dragon Pond of ZhongYue”, he uses a bold red ink colour to encapsulate the undeniable presence of the vast rocky mountain, making the viewer feel small as we marvel at the splendour. “Clear Water Peak'“, however, illustrates the majesty of a gorgeous scenery with a vivid royal blue, and etchings of Chinese calligraphy shown on the left hand mountain.
Zheng Yu Kun's work has been offered at auctions multiple times, before his untimely passing in 2008.
