Wang Li Suo graduated from the Department of Fine Arts of Hebei Normal University and the Beijing Academy of Painting students. He is currently the President of the Jinzhou State Painting Institute and the American Association, the Vice Chairman of the Federation of Arts and Culture, a visiting professor of Oriental Academy of Fine Arts, and a representative of the Shijiazhuang 10th National People’s Congress.
Most of Wang’s paintings embody the themes of the days and seasons, such as dawn and autumn. With scenic backdrops of autumn and dawn combined with elements of nature like greeneries and water bodies, it nests a sense of comfort into the hearts of the viewers. By infusing the mixture of dull, hazy colour schemes and some light-hearted orange hues, it gives a simple and yet enjoyable visual to the viewer.
Over the years, Wang’s works have been displayed in various exhibitions and won awards. In December 1994 and August 1997, he participated in two art exchanges held in Singapore. His solo exhibition, “Wang Li Suo Colour Ink Painting Exhibition”, was held at the National Art Museum of China in November 1995. Three of his works, including the “Taihang Jin Qiu”, were selected for an art exhibition organised by the Chinese Artists Association and compiled into an album. His “Water Country Series” and 12 other works were showcased in the National Painting Collection exhibition held in Los Angeles, United States. His piece, “Water Township”, was featured at the Beijing Academy of Painting Students. Many of his artworks are collected by local and international leaders, art galleries, and avid art collectors.
