Ge Shu Qing, born in 1959, is a professional stage designer working at the Fushun Opera Theatre. He is also the Vice President of the Fushun Artist Association, as well as a member of The China Artists’ Society (Liaoning Branch) and the China Drama Art Research Group.
His oil paintings are full of countryside passion and romance, strong enough to affect the feelings of his art viewers. His art pieces depict countryside living and its beautiful, natural environments. Ge successfully manages to express his passion for nature, skillfully capturing the scenic atmosphere prior to transforming them into artistic fantasies on the canvas. His experience has extended the properties of oil colours to the extreme.
As an artist, Ge holds a successful track record in his painting career for more than thirty years. His North-Eastern series of oil paintings have been seen in numerous art expositions nationwide. His unique characteristic art style has attracted significant attention from many people within the art circle. Currently, he resides in Beijing as a professional artist.
