Chen Jian Wei is a calligraphy artist whose works often embody religious themes, with verses from the bible, and themes of blessings and faith. His calligraphy presents the Chinese characters well through his clean and broad brushstrokes.
In 1972, Chen experienced living in Anhui, a beautiful countryside in eastern China, before deciding to further his studies in Japan in 1988. Eventually, his journey led him to move to Singapore in 2009, where he studied at TCA College. He was then ordained as a pastor in 2012 and later graduated with a degree in Doctor of Ministry from the Malaysia Baptist Theological Seminary in 2014.
Currently, he is a pastor at the Bai Sheng Church in Singapore, and has held exhibitions for his calligraphy works in various countries including Singapore, Indonesia, and Malaysia.
