Chang Meng Khwee
Chang Meng Khwee studied under the tutelage of renowned artists Pu Hsin-Yu, Lin Yuh San and Wang Geyi, and graduated from the School of Art of Taiwan Normal University in 1961.
While he is well known for his painting of Waves, he has also forayed into painting landscapes and animals with Chinese Ink. His painting of the waves gives a calming sense to its viewers, allowing us to experience the calmness from where we stand, whereas his paintings of the various villages bring us nostalgic memories of a simpler time.
In 1969, Chang held a solo exhibition in Canada.
