Alan Long, an established impressionist, attained his formal art education during his teen years. To date, he has amassed more than 35 years of painting experience.
He is well-known for his versatility in his painting; This can be seen in his paintings of both urban and country landscapes. Furthermore, he displays comfortability in both oil and watercolour.
Throughout his career, Alan has won numerous international awards, including one for the Seascapes, Rivers, and Lakes Painting Competition organized by the Australian Artist Magazine. His winning oil painting Scenic River View was Published in the magazine’s 213th issue in March 2002.
Alan has been exhibiting his works in Australia, Singapore, Hong Kong, China, Japan, and Germany. He has museums, institutions, private organizations, and individuals as his art collectors across various countries.
