Zhang Zhi An, a full time artist, was born in Chongming, Shanghai in 1964. He graduated from the Fine Arts Department of Shanghai Normal University in 1986. He is currently a member of the Shanghai Artists Association and the Vice President of the Chongming Painting Institute.
His works have participated in the Shanghai International Art Festival Art Exhibition, the Shanghai Art Exhibition, and the 21st Century Chinese Contemporary Artists Exhibition. He has held solo exhibitions in France, Singapore and other countries. He has published several of his own artwork publications like "Zhang Zhi'an Paintings", "Chen Huai Xiang Xiang - Zhang Zhi'an Collection", "Shan Jing Ri Chang - Zhang Zhi'an Collection" and so on.
