Wang Da Bang was born in Changchun, China in 1945 and graduated from the Lu Xun Fine Art Institute in 1985. He has been involved in oil painting, mural painting, industrial art creation, as well as fine arts teaching for many years. His works have garnered the Excellence Award in the National Inaugural Wall Art Exhibition, the National Gold Award in the individual category at 99 Worlds Gardening Exposition Wall Carving and the Gold Award and Special Award at the World Chinese Art Exhibition.
Many of his oil paintings and traditional Chinese paintings are kept by native and foreign collectors. His signature work is the “Buddha Biography”, which is currently kept at the main hall at the Chinese Anshan Jade Buddha Park.
