Simon Wee graduated from the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts in 1967. The renowned first-generation Master painter, Chen Wen Hsi, was his first teacher who introduced him to the basics of painting.
Most of his works use natural colours such as white, black and gold, which are his main colours. The strokes he creates are simple yet profound, as if they were derived from the inner recesses of his feelings. His works have been exhibited across Asia, as well as countries such as Abu Dhabi, Paris, Seoul and Shanghai.
